Commit .env.development/.staging/.production and track env files in git (matching uirefbase convention). No secrets: only NEXT_PUBLIC_BASE_PATH and NEXT_PUBLIC_SHARED_API_PATH (basis backend). .gitignore now ignores only *.local overrides.
